In the summer of 2024, we went on a 3000-mile road trip.  Visiting other ranches doing the same meeting. Personal appointments with prospective advisory members and retreat leaders,  Fundraising,  Thanking existing donors and forming new alliances, exploring new retreat locations,  and building an ongoing relationship with an experienced ministry already working with military and first responders.

Need:  $5000 year

This helps pay for tractor and farm truck repairs, equipment care and rentals, upgrading systems, fence repairs, and more.  Maintaining the ranch property makes it possible to create an atmosphere for men and families to connect after the retreat.  It is more than a line item on the operating budget. Ranch maintenance is also an opportunity to build relationships through a shared project.

We rescued our first horse about 3 years ago. Sydne's little (16.3 hands) "Dreamer" has brought life and vision to wherever he's been. He transformed Sydne's life and started our dream of partnering rescued horses with hurt, desperate people. This covers hay and feed, medicine, vet visits, farrier visits, and much more.  Once funded we will be looking to sponsor additional rescue horses at our stable.

As we continue leading retreats, we desire to invite men to an all-expense-paid retreat rather than having them pay their way.  One scholarship is $300, every retreat is approximately $2400. We host four retreats a year.

This helps cover one-on-one meetings with men and host their families for a meal at the ranch. We also provide snacks and water for our kiddos in the children's program.

We were given a 15-passenger van to shuttle men to and from our retreats.  It currently needs some upgrades and repairs.  The van is an important part of our retreats. The shared road trip and meal on the way to the retreat location set the tone for the weekend.  The men arrive at the retreat having already become acquainted and forming an initial trust with each other.  We require all retreat attendees to ride together to and from the retreat.

When we go on fishing and wilderness retreats, we are able to host six guys in a mobile and self-contained bunkhouse.  It has been in service for five years and is in need of some upgrades and repairs.

Our kid's program spans across three, 8-week sessions ( within a year). We spend the entirety of these sessions loving on and celebrating each kid. We need more children's helmets, small stirrups, craft supplies, horse-safe chalk, snacks, and more.
